Refund Policy

Effective date: March 14, 2026

Summary

You may request a full refund within 7 days of any charge, no questions asked. Annual subscribers may request a prorated refund within 14 days of their annual renewal date, as required by applicable law. All refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.

1. Free Trial Period

All paid plans (Companion, Family, and Pro) include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be billed. No refund is necessary for cancellations made during the free trial.

2. Monthly Subscriptions

For monthly billing cycles, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of any charge. Refund requests received after 7 days will not be honored for the current billing period, but you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

3. Annual Subscriptions

For annual billing cycles, the following refund terms apply:

Within 7 days of charge — Full Refund

If you request a refund within 7 calendar days of an annual charge, you will receive a full refund of the annual amount paid.

Days 8–14 after charge — Prorated Refund

If you request a refund between 8 and 14 calendar days after an annual charge, you will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription year. This is calculated as: (days remaining in year ÷ 365) × annual price paid. This provision applies as required under applicable consumer protection laws, including those of New York and California.

After 14 days — No Refund

Refund requests received more than 14 days after an annual charge are not eligible for a refund. You may cancel at any time to prevent auto-renewal at the end of your subscription year.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan within the app. Cancellation is effective immediately and prevents future charges. You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund; refund eligibility is governed by the terms above.

In compliance with the FTC Click-to-Cancel Rule (effective July 14, 2025), cancellation is available in-app without requiring you to contact support, call a phone number, or navigate to an external website.

5. Renewal Reminders

For annual subscriptions, we will send a renewal reminder notification at least 7 days before your renewal date. This reminder will include the renewal amount, the renewal date, and instructions for canceling before the charge. This practice is in compliance with the FTC Negative Option Rule and applicable state auto-renewal laws.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact our support team using one of the following methods:

Send your refund request to our support page. Please include your account email address and the date of the charge you are disputing. We will respond within 1 business day and process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days.

7. Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued for charges that have already been refunded, for accounts that have violated our Terms of Service, or for charges that occurred more than 14 days prior to the refund request (except as otherwise required by law). If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact support regardless of the timeline.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and an in-app notification at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
