Tick Bite & Removal

What To Do
  1. 1Use fine-tipped tweezers or tick removal tool
  2. 2Grasp tick as close to skin as possible
  3. 3Pull straight up with steady, even pressure
  4. 4Don't twist or jerk - this can break off mouthparts
  5. 5Clean bite area with antiseptic
  6. 6Save the tick in a sealed container (for identification if needed)
  7. 7Note the date of removal
  8. 8Monitor the bite site for several weeks
